Over the past several weeks, I have been asked over and over, “Are you going to keep writing?”
My usual reaction to this is to laugh, and say “yes.”
When I first turned to writing, I thought, “I’ll just keep doing this until I’m ready to move on to something else.”
After eight years, I have yet to find the point that writing does not bring me joy. (Don’t ask me about social media!) I love being able to write stories that inspire others and encourage them to find better versions of themselves. Stories have power that way.
I have also taken on several writing students and have learned I love to teach, so there will be more of that in my future.
As far as the books go, however, I have three complete series ideas sitting on the back burner that are spin-offs from The Comstock Chronicles. The first one will be about the lost dragons of Tellidus. This will focus on Tellen, Fiora, and Darius as the primary characters. Plus, all of the dragon shifters we’ll get to meet.
You can catch a glimpse of what is to come when you check out the free short-story An Empire of Monsters.

Between now and that series, however; I am spending some time in a new world called “Vesperwood.” This project is currently labeled “Death By Sweets” and will be fairytale murder mystery that will be a mash-up between Little Red Riding Hood, Sherlock Holmes, and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
At this point, I’m targeting to release it this fall so long as my farm doesn’t take all my energy this year.
So stick around and as always
Light (and a book!) does more when shared.
